How to load the PUSHrack V3 correctly – step-by-step guide
How to load the PUSHrack V3 correctly
Hanging a bike on the PUSHrack isn’t a feat of strength, but a matter of technique.
If you know the right moves, you can hang even a 20 kg e-bike in a controlled and stress-free manner.
In the video, Laurenz and Lici show you step by step just how easy it is.
We’ve summarised the key steps for you in writing.
How to hold the bike properly
Key points:
• With your left hand, grip the right handlebar from above
• At the same time, use the thumb of your left hand to apply the rear brake
• With your right hand, grip the chainstay
• Rest your elbow on your hip, bend your knees and use the strength in your legs to push the bike upright
👉 This gives you full control over your weight and balance.
Attach the handlebars
- Place the handlebars into the handlebar holder
- Use the new stem guide for this (V3 feature!)👉 Once the handlebars are secured in the handlebar holder, you can let go of the bike.
Secure the rear wheel
- Now position the rear wheel in the tyre holder
- Thanks to the V3’s new slide bearing, the tyre holder automatically slides into the correct position as soon as the rear wheel is seated in the tyre holder
Fasten your straps
- Please note that you should start with the top strap! This ensures that the handlebars are pulled firmly into the holder.
- Always route the strap around the outside of the handlebar holder to fasten it.
- Fasten the second strap to the handlebar holder.
- Finally, fasten the strap to the tyre holder.
Good to know
With this technique
- you can secure even heavy e-bikes (max. 25kg per bike)
- the process is quick and smooth
- you keep your bike under control at all times
👉 For bikes weighing more than 20kg, please ask a second person to help you
👉 To fasten the straps, you can, for example, step onto the footboard of your camper van
Fazit
It’s not strength that matters, but technique.
Once you get the hang of it, loading becomes a breeze.
