PUSHrack Plus Arm

YOUR BENEFITS

The PUSHrack Plus Arm was developed especially for campervans with attached or surface mounted windows. These include, for example, many Fiat Ducato and Citröen Jumper models. The aim here is to prevent unwanted contact between the handlebar and the window and subsequently unwanted scratched.

A PLUS IN DISTANCE

With the PUSHrack Plus Arm, you gain about 6-7 cm of extra clearance from the vehicle. This means significantly more space between the handlebars and the windows. So you don’t have to worry about unwanted contact or potential scratches.

A PLUS IN STABILITY

The PUSHrack Plus Arm distributes the weight of the mounted bikes evenly across the vehicle door. This significantly improves the stability of Thule/Fiamma rails, which are often not securely attached.
As a result, twisting of the rail caused by the weight of the bike has been completely eliminated.

WHO IS THE PLUS ARM IS SUITABLE FOR?

The Plus Arm is required for panel vans with surface-mounted (protruding) windows.
For e-bikes over 20kg, it significantly improves stability, but is not absolutely necessary. Please note that this does not increase the maximum bike weight of 25kg per holder.
With older or possibly poorly bonded Thule/Fiamma rails, the Plus Arm can provide a significant increase in stability and therefore safety.
For bikes with strongly curved handlebars (up to approx. 70mm rise), the Plus Arm can create enough space to mount such bikes as well.

ORDER OPTIONS

The PUSHrack Plus arm is available in 4 different lengths. The length you need depends on the distance between the top rail and the top edge of the door. The silver clamp has 3 mounting positions, so the length is specified as a range (from – to).

L250: 225 - 275 mm (Mostly suitable for VW Crafter)
L300: 275 - 325 mm (Mostly suitable for Fiat Ducato / Citroën Jumper / Peugeot Boxer in height H2 (height 2.5 m))
L350: 325 - 375 mm (Mostly suitable for Mercedes Sprinter)
L550: 525 - 575 mm (Mostly suitable for Fiat Ducato / Citroën Jumper / Peugeot Boxer in height H3 (height 2.7 m))

INSTALLATION NOTE

The PUSHrack Plus Arm is mounted between the rail and the bike holder.
It can be retrofitted and removed without leaving any residue.
Except for the clamp on the door edge, the Plus Arm is made of aluminum and powder-coated in black.
The bracket on the edge of the door is made of stainless steel.

SUITABLE VEHICLES

Vans from a height of 2.25 meters are perfectly suitable, but motorhomes, off-road vehicles and caravans are also possible.

SMALLER VEHICLES?

For buses with a height of less than 2.25m, it is generally not possible to install the upper rail. We are currently working on a solution to make PUSHrack available for as many buses as possible in the future. As soon as we have a finished product, we will announce it here.

For orders with a value exceeding 1,000€ shipped to third countries, delivery times may be extended due to the required customs declaration. To avoid this, we recommend splitting the order into two separate shipments.

We use these on our campervan, even though we have slim windows. For our enduro bikes, we could use the PUSHrack bike without, but it gives extra stability and it’s nice to get the handlebars a little bit further out from the van. Great products, as always!

I recommend it 100%. For bikes weighing over 20 kg, it provides enormously better stability. I don’t need it to get distance from the windows.

The perfect addition to our PUSHrack system. Brings enormous stability to the rail system and the greater distance to the rear door is also very beneficial for carrying our bikes (trail bikes and gravel bikes). Like all PUSHrack parts, it has a high-quality finish and has been thought through down to the smallest detail. Chapeau!
