Do you have questions?
We have answers!
A newly designed rear carrier for panel vans
- Modular system for transporting bicycles, e-scooters, snowboards, skis, cross-country skis, children’s bike trailers and much more
- The system is based on L-Tracks or rails from Thule/Fiamma
- Lightweight: the entire system for one bike weighs just 1 kg
- You can change the mounts to suit your equipment in just a few simple steps
We have developed our PUSHrack system for larger camper vans, e.g. for VW Crafter, Mercedes Sprinter, Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper and Ford Transit in heights H2 and H3.
As a rule of thumb: an adult person must be able to stand in the van, then our system can be fitted.
- The system can also be fitted to motorhomes or vehicles with cabins.
- It is often difficult to fit the rails to smaller camper vans. You can find everything you need to know about exceptional cases in the category “Which vehicles does the PUSHrack system fit”.
Whether L-Track, Thule or Fiamma rails, the PUSHrack fits all variants.
Unlike Thule rails, L-Tracks can be attached to both doors!
The PUSHrack L-Track-Set is available in two lengths – choose the right one for your vehicle.
- You need one set for each door.

You can find detailed information on installing the PUSHrack airline rail set, including vehicle-specific installation videos and instructions to download, in our blog post: HOW TO – Installing airline rails correctly – PUSH components
These points must always be observed:
-
- The rails must be attached horizontally to one or both doors.
- With a distance of 100-130 cm, adult bikes of all sizes will fit on your PUSHrack.
- The top rail should be mounted at least 150 cm above the bumper so that the bikes do not “roll along” on the road later.
- Don’t have the confidence to assemble? No problem! For this reason, we work together with reliable installation partners.
Yes, that’s no problem. Please take a look at our blog post: HOW TO – PUSHrack Bike Rack- using already installed Thule/Fiamma Rails – PUSH components
Yes, the PUSHrack system fits on backrack frames.
- Please note, however, that our standard bolts do not fit, as the backracks have an 8 mm groove, which is unfortunately closed at the edges.
- You need special sliding blocks that can be swiveled into the closed groove, e.g. this one in the stainless steel version.
- Fasten the handlebar and tire holder with M8 × 12 mm screws.
This is actually not a problem, as the rails bend when fitted to the bus on the curved doors.
- Please be sure to read our blog post before installing your rails: HOW TO – Airline Rails – PUSH components
- Or contact one of our trusted installation partners, all of whom have experience in this area. You will find a List of our installation partners on our website.
- Due to the vertical mounting of the PUSHrack system, we have the great advantage that the center of gravity of the bikes is only half as far away from the door hinge as with other rear carriers.
- The half lever also means that only half the load is placed on the door.
- Note: If the door on your van does not close correctly, it is not warped or bent. As a rule, only the hinges have slipped in their adjustment range and just need to be readjusted. The lower load from the PUSHrack helps to ensure that this does not happen again.
- Yes, that’s not a problem.
- With the PUSHrack Plus arm, you avoid unwanted contact between the handlebars and the window.
- PUSHrack Plus Arm – PUSH components
Mounting on the left door is no problem. However, please note that
- the handlebars of your bikes do not protrude beyond the middle of the door, otherwise the right-hand door can no longer be opened.
- Depending on the vehicle, the license plate may be covered by the bikes. In this case, please order the PUSHrack Licensce Plate Lowering Kit. You can see how to fit this in this installation video.
- We have developed a solution to this problem: PUSHrack Kennzeichentieferlegungskit.
- You can find out how to mount the kit in our blog post HOW TO – Montage Kennzeichen Tieferlegungskit – PUSH components.
In principle, the PUSHrack is load for the TÜV and therefore does not need to be registered.
However, there are two things to note:
- The EU regulation for vehicle bodies states that the rear lights must be visible at a 45° angle to the inside and outside. This can often be found online. However, this does not apply to the PUSHrack, as the bikes are cargo and not a fixed vehicle body. The StVO for cargo only states that the rear lights must not be covered.
- The bikes protrude over a meter, so you need a red flag in Germany and Austria. You will receive one red flag from us free of charge for each order.
We will be bringing out a perfectly designed product to solve this problem. In the meantime, you can also make your own solution.
Mountain bikes:
To transport a bike with wide tires, you can use the two upper holes in the warning sign to mount a bar which you then attach to the middle of one of our straps with two cable ties.
Road bikes:
With narrow road bike tires, the board can still turn too easily to the side. In this case, you could also stretch a cord from a hole on the left and right to the tire holder.
If you are transporting two or more bikes, you can simply attach the board to the rear tires at the two upper holes with straps or a cord. This stabilizes the warning sign in both directions and prevents it from slipping.
- Yes, the bikes may and can move (minimally).
- You can see the bikes swing the most when you close the door.
- When riding, however, the bikes only move minimally.
- You can take a look at our video on a mountain road: INSIGHTS – Test drive with the PUSHrack on the mountain road – PUSH components
- It is perfectly okay for the bikes to lean slightly to one side. This is neither an advantage nor a disadvantage in terms of stability.
- The lean is caused by the steering angle and is actually quite practical. If you mount the bike so that the handlebars are turned towards the center of the vehicle, for example, the visibility of the rear lights is further improved.
- You can mount the handlebar holder tilted to the right or left, depending on the vehicle situation.
Three points are crucial for the stable transportation of your bike:
1. Please follow this sequence when fastening the straps:
1.1. upper strap of handlebar holder (around handlebars)
1.2 Lower strap of handlebar holder (around handlebars)
1.3 Strap from tire holder (around rim / tire)
2. If your bike weighs 18 kg or more, please fix the brake lever of the rear brake with the enclosed Velcro tape.
3. It is important that the upper and lower brackets are mounted vertically in the same position.
The PUSHrack can be installed on Fiat Ducato models H2 & H3 built in 2016 or later.
- You will need the L-Track-Set for vehicle type 2 (top & bottom rail 70 cm).
- Please watch our videos before installation: PUSHrack – Lowering the number plate – Fiat Ducato – Citroen Jumper or PUSHrack conversion Thule / Fiamma bike rack
- If you have camping windows fitted, you will need one Plus arm per bike rack.
- On the left door, the number plate is covered by wheels larger than 20″. This problem can be solved with our PUSHrack number plate lowering kit.
- Please ensure that the handlebars do not protrude beyond the door hinge.
- The hinges that swing far outwards are an advantage: this allows the bike to be mounted further out. In theory, this makes it possible to transport three bikes.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to mount the PUSHrack system on the Ford Nugget.
The PUSHrack system can be installed in the Ford Transit, but only in the H3 model built in 2014 or later.
- You will need the L-Track-Set for vehicle type no. 2 (two rails, each 70 cm long).
- You can find detailed information on installation, vehicle-specific installation dimensions and an installation video in our blog post: HOW TO – L-Tracks – Ford Transit – PUSH components
- The curved doors are not a problem, as the rails adapt to the curved doors during installation.
- To install the upper rail, you need to cut an opening measuring approximately 15 x 30 cm into the inner panel.
- This is very easy to do with electric sheet metal shears. A jigsaw (saw blade max. 2 cm long) would also work.
The PUSHrack system can be installed in the Ford Transit Custom, but currently only in models with a high roof built in 2012 or later (not yet available for the Nugget or models with a tailgate).
- Please watch our videos before installation: PUSHrack – Airlineschienen Montage an gebogenen Türen – Ford Transit – YouTube
- The upper rail measures 45 cm and the lower rail 50 cm.
- We do not yet offer this model as standard, but you can cut it to size yourself, e.g. from our PUSHrack L-Track-Set vehicle type 1.
- The curved doors are no problem. The rails adapt to the doors during installation.
The PUSHrack system can be installed on the Iveco Daily.
- As the metal sheet in the upper area has to be cut open, installation is similar to that on the Ford Transit.
- All information on installation, including an installation video, installation dimensions and instructions to download, can be found in our blog post:HOW TO – L-Tracks – Ford Transit – PUSH components
Our PUSHrack system can be installed on the Mercedes Sprinter H1, but it is much more complicated than with other installations. The difficulty lies in the height of the Sprinter H1. Normally, we place the upper rail above the window area and reinforce the sheet metal with aluminium plates from the inside. With the H1, this area cannot be accessed from the inside because the door frame is already there.
- A particularly skilled customer found a really good way to install the rails: he drilled through both sheets of metal for each screw connection in the rail. The hole in the inner sheet was drilled out so that a sleeve (aluminium tube) could be placed over the screw. The sleeve was cut so that it was flush with the sheet metal. When tightened, the rail and adhesive are pressed firmly onto the outer sheet metal through the sleeve, and the inner sheet metal provides excellent support to prevent the rail from tilting. A neat solution, but admittedly a little more work, and the screws and nuts are visible in the interior afterwards.
Our PUSHrack system can be installed on Mercedes Sprinter models H2 & H3 built in 2006 or later, or on all models with a height of 2.60 m.
- You will need the L-Track-Set for vehicle type no. 1 (upper rail 60 cm, lower rail 70 cm).
- Watch our video before installation: PUSHrack – Airlineschienen Montage – Mercedes Sprinter – Schienen biegen
- The curved doors are not a problem, as the rails bend to fit the curved doors when installed on the bus.
- Mounting_L-Track Set_MercedesSprinter
The PUSHrack system can be installed in the Opel Movano / Renault Master models H2 & H3 built between 2003 and 2021 (from 2022 onwards, the design will be similar to that of the Fiat Ducato).
- You will need the L-Track-Set for vehicle type no. 1 (upper rail 60 cm, lower rail 70 cm).
- Watch our video before installation: PUSHrack – Installing L-Track-Rails – OPEL Movano – Renault Master
- The curved doors are not a problem, as the rails bend to fit the curved doors when installed on the van.
- Mounting_L-Track_OpelMovano_RenaultMaster
The PUSHrack system can also be installed in motorhomes. It can accommodate up to 4-6 wheels, or you can have fewer wheels and install a storage box or similar in the future.
- The sandwich walls of motorhomes are significantly more stable than the thin sheet metal of panel vans.
- It is recommended to install the rail across the full width to distribute the load optimally.
There are two options for installation:
- 1.) As with panel vans, you can glue and screw on a 50 mm wide semi-circular rail. This involves drilling completely through the wall and countering from the inside.
- 2.) You can use an extra-wide 65 mm rail and glue it to the vehicle. Only small self-tapping screws are used, which only penetrate the outer layer of the sandwich panel so that the rail has uniform contact pressure along its entire length when glued. There is no need to drill through and counter-tighten. This option is much easier to install. Gluing ultimately creates an extremely stable connection and is even significantly superior to screwing, but it must be done very carefully.
We do not yet offer ready-made kits for motorhomes or have specially trained installation partners. However, installation is standard practice for many motorhome workshops.
Theoretically, it is possible to install the PUSHrack system on VW T5/T6/T7 buses, but it requires a high level of technical skill and the solutions are not 100% satisfactory.
- Tailgate: Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to attach rails to the tailgate. We tried mounting L-Tracks on the VW logo bike rack with a customer. It worked, but the conversion requires some special parts and the number plate cover was actually too big for public roads with two wheels.
- Two tailgates: We have already made several attempts with motivated T5/T6 customers, which were not entirely satisfactory. It is very difficult to mount the rails in the right places because the areas are not easily accessible from the inside. In addition, the left door opens first on the T5/T6. To prevent the bike handlebars from getting stuck, the bikes should be placed on the left side. However, this then covers the number plate. So unfortunately, it’s not that easy. If you take on these challenges and find a solution for mounting the rails at the right intervals, it may work with PUSHrack. Unfortunately, we don’t have any precise instructions that guarantee success.
- High-roof combi van: Our rails are definitely too long for the T5 high-roof combi van. In addition, the metal sheet above the window is much too soft and requires extensive reinforcement. The reinforcement plates supplied are not sufficient on their own. Two customers have managed to install the PUSHrack system on a T5 high-roof combi van with a great deal of effort.
The PUSHrack system can be installed in the VW Crafter Grand California / MAN TGE from 2006 onwards for all models with a height of 2.60 m or more.
- You will need the L-Track-Set for vehicle type no. 1 (upper rail 60 cm, lower rail 70 cm).
- Please watch our videos before installation: PUSHrack – Airlines rail installation – VW Crafter / Grand California / MAN TGE
- Please note the following: Height H3 is sometimes referred to as H2. Please enquire about the correct height for your model.
- Curved doors are not a problem, as the rails bend to fit the curved doors when installed on the van.
- Mounting_L-Track_VW Crafter_Grand California_MAN TGE
We are working on developing a system so that the PUSHrack system will also work on small buses in the future. Unfortunately, it currently fails due to the installation of the upper rails. There is not enough space for installation, so a completely new concept is needed for these cases. Unfortunately, development is very time-consuming because we have to do a lot of testing and we will only be satisfied when everything fits.
- Free handlebars: there should be approx. 5 cm of space to the left and right of the handlebars.
- Lowerable saddle: your saddle must be lowerable or removable.
- Maximum weight: 25 kg per bike including accessories. From approx. 20 kg, we recommend strong upper arms or a second person to load and unload the bike!
- Blocking the brake: From 18 kg, the rear brake must be blocked during transport. For this purpose, we supply a Velcro strap with each bike rack. This is used to tie the brake lever to the handle before loading.
- More on this in our blog: INSIGHTS – These bikes fit on the PUSHrack! – PUSH components
Please take a look at our blog post: HOW TO – Fitting the PUSHrack bike racks to L-Tracks – PUSH components

Carbon handlebars are no problem at all; they have to bear significantly higher loads when cycling. We ourselves also use carbon handlebars on all our bikes.
Pannier Rack are no problem thanks to our adapter.
- Please note that the pannier rack does not have to rest on the adapter along its entire length. It should only make contact in the corner of the two rubber profiles.
Soft plastic guard plates can usually be mounted on the PUSHrack without any problems. The guard plate and tyre can simply be pressed together with the strap. The guard plate simply bends back into shape after the ride. Our PADABIKE can also be used to protect the guard plate from scratches.

To avoid this problem, take two 5-15 cm long pieces of rubber hose (e.g. garden hose) and cut them lengthwise. Before transport, insert these from behind onto the upper handlebar near the stem and hang the handlebar in the PUSHrack. The hose makes the handlebar thicker and ensures that it sits in the correct position in the rack.

In short: with the SNOWbag, you can transport your sports equipment dry and rust-free. But that’s not all, of course:
- Protection against salt and moisture
- No need to put (wet) sports equipment in the bus
- Effortless transport of up to four pairs of skis, for example
- The bag is easy to remove and fold up
- When folded, the bag is as small as a folding table
- Lightweight, only 10 kg
- Can be mounted on L-Track, Thule or Fiamma rails
- Ski lengths of up to 2 m possible
- For more information, please have a look at our blog post: HOW TO – Installing PUSHrack SNOWbag – PUSH components
It is possible to attach the carriers to other rails (Airline, Thule, Fiamma), but please note the following:
- If end caps are installed, it is not possible to insert the carriers.
- Without the SNOWbag, your winter sports equipment may come into contact with the vehicle due to the curved tailgate.
- Without the SNOWbag, your winter sports equipment will be exposed to salt and moisture during transport, making rust formation very likely.
Depending on your sports equipment, you can customise the individual carriers for the SNOWbag.
- Do you ski? Then you need the PUSHrack ski holders – PUSH components. The SNOWbag can hold 4 pairs of skis plus 4 pairs of poles. All skis up to 2 metres in length fit in the SNOWbag.
- Do you snowboard? Then please purchase the PUSHrack snowboard rack – PUSH components. One rack holds two snowboards. Including bindings, you can transport a maximum of 2 snowboards in the SNOWbag. However, there would still be room for two additional boards without bindings.
- Do you cross-country ski? Then you need the PUSHrack cross-country ski rack – PUSH components. The SNOWbag can hold 6 pairs of cross-country skis plus 6 pairs of poles. All skis up to 2 metres in length fit in the SNOWbag.
- The ski poles can be secured to the rails in the SNOWbag with additional straps.
- Of course, you can also combine all carriers with each other. You can find the possible combinations on the respective product pages.
Please use the horizontal l-tracks (and suitable straps, hooks etc.) to secure your items. The floor itself can only hold up to 2 kg.
- Freeride, alpine, touring, telemark, kids´ skis: they all fit the PUSHrack ski rack
- Maximum length: 2 metres
- Skis less than one metre in length can also be secured to a single holder
You will need the following components to transport your skis:
- Each pair of skis requires one ski holder: PUSHrack ski holder – PUSH components
- PUSHrack SNOWbag – PUSH components
The SNOWbag mounts (cross-country skiing, skiing, snowboarding) are designed for use in the SNOWbag and work best there.
There are two L-Tracks in the bag in which the mounts are positioned. It is possible to mount the mounts on other rails (Airline, Thule, Fiamma). But please note the following:
- If end caps are installed, it is not possible to insert the carriers.
- Without the SNOWbag, your winter sports equipment may come into contact with the vehicle due to the curved tailgate.
- Without the SNOWbag, your winter sports equipment is exposed to salt and moisture during transport, making rust formation very likely.
- The ski poles can be secured in the SNOWbag with a strap.
- The straps fit perfectly into the rails in the SNOWbag.
- This means that several pairs of poles can be secured together if necessary.
- If you want to transport as many skis as possible, it is best to secure the poles first and then place the skis on top.
The straps for securing your ski poles in the SNOWbag can be found here:
- Maximum length: 2 metres
- For skating and classic skiing
You will need the following components to transport your Cross-Country Skis:
- Each pair of cross-country skis requires one cross-country ski holder: PUSHrack cross-country ski rack – PUSH components
- PUSHrack SNOWbag – PUSH components
The SNOWbag mounts (Cross-Country Skiing, skiing, snowboarding) are designed for use in the SNOWbag and work best there. The bag contains two L-Tracks in which the mounts are positioned.

- With very low ski bindings (pin bindings), 2 snowboards can be transported with 2 pairs of skis in the SNOWbag
The PUSHrack number plate lowering kit allows you to transport sports equipment on the left door.
Thanks to the clever repositioning of the number plate and the smart cover, the number plate remains visible from a distance of 20 metres in complete darkness. No changes need to be made to the vehicle’s electronics or lighting.
We have developed the kit specifically for the following panel vans so that bicycles, skis, etc. do not cover the number plate:
- Fiat Ducato
- Citroën Jumper
- Peugeot Boxer
- Opel Movano C (from 2021)
On almost all other panel vans, the number plate is already in this low position ex works.
We have developed the PUSHrack Plus arm especially for panel vans with attached windows. These include, for example, many Fiat Ducato and Citröen Jumper models. The aim here is to avoid unwanted contact between the handlebar and the window. The Plus Arm is compatible with both Airline and Thule rails and can be combined with our normal bike holders as well as the DH/Flex version. It is available in four different lengths (see below).
In the following case you need the Plus Arm:
– For vans with attached windows.
– For bikes with strongly curved handlebars (up to approx. 70 mm rise), the Plus Arm can create enough space to mount such bikes.
We recommend the Plus Arm in the following cases:
– For e-bikes over 20kg, it significantly improves stability, but is not absolutely necessary. Please note: This does not increase the maximum bike weight per bracket of 25 kg.
– For older or possibly poorly bonded C-rails (Thule/Fiamma), the Plus Arm can significantly increase stability and therefore safety.
Which Plus Arm do I need?

Here you can see the different plus arm sizes.
The required length of the Plus Arm depends on the distance between the top rail and the top edge of the door.
The silver clamp has 3 positions for mounting, so the length is given as a range (from – to).

Installation tips:The Plus Arm is installed between the rail and the bike holder, can be retrofitted and removed again without leaving any residue.
With this Adapter, you can also transport bikes with pannier racks on your PUSHrack.
- The adapter features a rubberised L-shaped support on which a pannier rack can be securely and gently attached.
- This adapter is easily mounted on a PUSHrack tyre holder using the screws provided. The two mounting holes are available on every PUSHrack tyre holder.
- The angle-adjustable adapter with wide support can be adapted to any bike.
- The pannier rack does not have to rest on the adapter along its entire length. It should only make contact in the corner of the two rubber profiles.
Both your equipment and your PUSHrack can be secured with our products.
Here is a brief overview of the products and how they can be used.
PUSHrack anti-theft kit
The anti-theft kit offers reliable theft protection for PUSHrack bike racks.
By replacing one standard nut on the handlebar holder and one standard star knob on the tyre holder of the PUSHrack bike rack with the anti-theft version, you can secure your PUSHrack bike racks against thieves.
One set protects two PUSHrack bike racks.
PS: We are working on a set that also protects your e-scooters and bike trailer mounts.
PUSHrack security lock
This lock secures your bikes (V2 and above), e-scooters and bike trailers to your PUSHrack carrier. The lock is mounted on the carrier’s locking bar. You can choose between a lock with or without an alarm function.
The alarm can be deactivated for the journey or while in the vehicle (applies to locks with alarm function).
Cable tie lock, set of 2
This allows you to secure skis and Cross-Country Skis in your SNOWbag. To do this, the cable tie lock is threaded through the PUSHrack mounts and can only be opened with the corresponding ‘key’.
PUSHrack lock point
This lock point is a robust anchor point on your rails. Once you attach a lock, it cannot be unscrewed. This allows you to secure your bicycle to the rail, for example. Suitable for all padlocks with a bolt diameter of less than 10 mm and a shackle length of at least 20 mm.
PUSHrack steel cable
For securing your equipment. In combination with the clever lock point and a padlock, you can secure your equipment quickly and easily.

Our BLOP is a bottle opener and bin bag hook in one. Like all our products, BLOP can be mounted on L-Tracks and Thule rails. The version with a screw-on magnet allows you to position it anywhere on your vehicle.
- For the magnetic version, we use a rubberised neodymium magnet, which is very strong despite its small size.
- Our magnet is rubberised. Nevertheless, the surface used must be free of dirt to avoid any scratches.
- The bin bag hung on the hook must weigh no more than 10 kg and must be removed while driving.
- Once we have received your order, we will process it as quickly as possible.
- Please forgive us if this occasionally takes a few days; we are a small team and work flat out every day.
- As soon as your product has been packaged, you will receive another email confirming that your order has been completed.
- The delivery time within Germany is approximately 2 days, and to Austria it takes a maximum of 4 days.
Unfortunately, it is currently not technically possible for us to combine orders – even though this would often make sense.
We work with a shipping service provider that processes all orders strictly in the order in which they are received, which is fundamentally the right approach.
Unfortunately, this principle does not allow for any changes to the order sequence or for orders to be combined.
We would like to find a way to do this in the future and already have some ideas on how this could be implemented.
Until then, orders placed on the same day will usually be delivered at the same time, but in separate packages.
For orders over 100 €, we offer free shipping to private customers in Germany.
- We try to send each order in one parcel if possible.
- The item with the longest delivery time therefore determines the delivery time for the entire order.
- Our products are 100% manufactured in Germany.
- We, the PUSH team, do a lot of the work ourselves.
- The metal parts are manufactured by Laserhub.
- Oberland Werkstätten GmbH in Miesbach takes care of a large number of assembly and packaging steps.
