The safety rope has 2 functions.
Firstly, the safety rope prevents the front wheel from turning uncontrollably during transport. Secondly, it keeps the bike attached to the vehicle even in the unlikely event of the handlebars breaking or if you forget to fasten the straps.
The safety rope is 1 metre long and has a carabiner for attaching it.
The safety rope is already included with every PUSHrack bike rack!
