Your Benefits

We have developed the Plus Arm especially for panel vans with attached windows. These include, for example, many Fiat Ducato and Citröen Jumper models. The aim here is to prevent unwanted contact between the handlebar and the window.

A plus in distance:

6-7 cm more distance to the vehicle, which means significantly more space between the handlebars and windows. This means you don't have to worry about unwanted contact.

A plus in stability:

Supporting the top edge of the door completely eliminates any twisting of the rail due to the weight of the bike. This significantly improves the stability of C-rails, which are often not optimally bonded.

Who is the Plus Arm for?

The Plus Arm is required for panel vans with surface-mounted (protruding) windows.
For e-bikes over 20kg, it significantly improves stability, but is not absolutely necessary. Please note that this does not increase the maximum bike weight of 25kg per holder.
With older or possibly poorly bonded C-rails, the Plus Arm can provide a significant increase in stability and therefore safety.
For bikes with strongly curved handlebars (up to approx. 70mm rise), the Plus Arm can create enough space to mount such bikes as well.

Here are a few tips to make sure you order the right thing

Selection options for the order:

The Plus Arm is available in 4 different lengths. The length you need depends on the distance between the top rail and the top edge of the door. The silver clamp has 3 positions for mounting, so the length is given as a range (from – to).

L250: 225 - 275 mm (mostly suitable for VW Crafter)
L300: 275 - 325 mm (mostly suitable for Fiat Ducato / Citröen Jumper / Peugeot Boxer in height H2 (height 2.5 m))
L350: 325 - 375 mm (mostly suitable for Mercedes Sprinter)
L550: 525 - 575 mm (mostly suitable for Fiat Ducato / Citröen Jumper / Peugeot Boxer in height H3 (height 2.7 m))

Installation:

The Plus Arm is mounted between the rail and the bike holder, can be retrofitted and removed again without leaving any residue.

The Plus Arm is made of black powder-coated aluminium except for the clip on the door edge. The clip is made of stainless steel.
Pictures of silver arms are earlier prototypes and do not correspond to the series.

We use these on our campervan, even though we have slim windows. For our enduro bikes, we could use the Pushrack bike without, but it gives extra stability and it’s nice to get the handlebars a little bit further out from the van. Great products, as always!

I recommend it 100%. For bikes weighing over 20 kg, it provides enormously better stability. I don’t need it to get distance from the windows.

The perfect addition to our PUSHrack system. Brings enormous stability to the rail system and the greater distance to the rear door is also very beneficial for carrying our bikes (trail bikes and gravel bikes). Like all PUSHrack parts, it has a high-quality finish and has been thought through down to the smallest detail. Chapeau! Many thanks for the very competent, friendly, always uncomplicated and fast support, Betti and Lenz!
